COVID-19 UPDATE

Remember that you're not alone right now. Many couples have been impacted,  weddings have been postponed, and we know it's a challenging time for so many impacted by this pandemic. We want to be here for you every step of the way. Because love most certainly isn’t cancelled, and that includes the joyful journey of planning your wedding hair and makeup.

We have put together a series of questions and answers you may find useful.

im postponing - what now?

If you are having to postpone your wedding, we are sorry to hear this news. We are with you every step of the way. We recommend as soon as you are doing this, just make us aware so we can update this for you. Once you have a tentative new date, reach out to us right away and we will check your new date for you within 48 hours.  

what happens to my

deposit/final payment?

Your deposit/final payment is safe here with Rivervale Beauty. We simply allow the transfer of the funds you have made to a new date without any additional costs or penalty. If you have only made your deposit booking, and not your final payment, the final payment amount would just be transferred to a timeline that fits the new date.

what if i cancel?

If you choose to cancel your wedding entirely (due to personal choice), with more than 8 weeks notice, the final payment may be released however if notice is given with less than 8 weeks, then the full amount will be due. This is due to the fact that we have put in a significant amount of time in communication leading up to your wedding day, and turned down other weddings / bookings. 

 

When it comes to an event such as COVID-19, rather than cancelling, we would focus on postponing and utilizing the deposit paid for your wedding on a future date.

whats different in the pamper room?


In relation to COVID, the health and wellbeing of our clients in the Pamper Room is of the upmost importance. Please be reassured that our pamper room has elevated it's already high standards of hygiene, incorporating additional deep cleaning,  disinfecting procedures and frequency from Rivervale Barn. We have paid extra attention to all surfaces such as door handles, bathrooms and stylist stations, all of which are cleaned every morning and once the bridal party have finished. After you leave the pamper room, and enjoy your time in the cottage, this will be cleaned & locked so it is fully sterilised before used again.

 

measurements in place

We ask that you wear your own mask upon arrival and sanitise your hands with the gel on our coffee table. Whilst having your hair done, we ask you to keep it on at all times & if needed, we may ask you to unhook it if we need to pin any pieces behind your ear. For makeup, we will need you to remove the mask but please be rest assured, as our team will be in their full appropriate PPE kit of a visor & a mask. We just ask that you do not hug, or shake your team members hand (as hard as that is as we are so excited to see you again after the trial!) As you can imagine, the new standards are set in place to safeguard our clients and team whilst they are in our beauty room.
